Kinard Lee Drewery, 69, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, May 25, 2006, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 29, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born on January 20, 1937, in Loraine, Texas.Mr. Drewery came to Big Spring in 1976 from Austin. He worked as an electrician most of his life. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and had served in the United States Navy.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lea Drewery of Katy; one daughter, Lena Drewery of Oregon; his mother, Lilla Drewery of Big Spring; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dale Drewery of Hawkins and Wayne and Glynn Drewery of Coahoma; five sisters, Audine Harris of Aubrey, Dot Ditto of Coahoma, Nadelle Williams of Anniston, Alabama, Darlene Bennett of Scottsburg, Indiana and Shirlene Gunter of Farmington, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Robin and Joshua Drewery; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Virgil Drewery.
