Kimberly was born on September 26, 1959 in Tucson, Arizona to Neil Frederick Richter and Joice Lynn Marlar-Richter. Kimberly attended Redeemer Lutheran School, Amphi Junior High and then went on to attend Amphi High School. She started life as a mother at a very young age and worked hard to obtain her cosmetology license before graduating high school. After doing hair in Tucson for a time, Kim’s heart brought her and her young daughter to Weatherford, Texas in 1979. They lived there until 1987 when they moved to Midland, Texas where she has lived since.
She started working for the Hochman family at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant. She worked there for almost 20 years and made many lifelong friends. For the past 17 years she worked at Clayton Williams as a receptionist. The Williams Family and all of her coworkers became like family to her. She absolutely loved going to work and seeing everyone she had become so fond of over the years.
Kimberly is survived by her daughter Amber Lynn Mebane (husband Cody) of Midland, Texas, son Neil Braxton Braly (wife Paige),of Lubbock, Texas, grandaughters Cylie Mebane Ulcak (husband Austin), of Orlando, Florida, Cassidy Lynn Mebane of Midland, Texas, Cady Brianne Mebane, of Lubbock, Texas and Rachel Anne Barner, of Tucson, Arizona, Sister Brenda Worthington,of Tucson, Arizona, Brother Keith Richter (wife Cindy) of Tucson, Arizona.

Kimberly loved her children with all that she was. She was the epitome of selflessness and giving when it came to them. Thank you to Midland Memorial Hospital for everything that was done to help and to Hospice of Midland for making this transition as easy as possible. She had a smile as big as Texas and we will never forget her contagious laugh! Whenever you see a yellow rose, think of her and her beautiful smile always!
