I am truly saddened to hear about Kenneth's passing. I wasn't sure if he remembered me from school, but I always smiled and said hello whenever I would see him out in town.

I went to high school with Kenneth. We were good friends. We were both tall but I think he was a little taller than me. His family was good friends with another friend of mine’s family.

My sister, brother, and I grew up around Kenneth, as Doris and Hoop were my grandparents’ (John and Dorothy Smith) best friends of many, many years. Our mom, Cynthia, grew up with Robert and Kenneth and loved them both like brothers. Our families had Friday Dinner together for years and my siblings and I always enjoyed Kenneth’s company. He was a truly kind soul and I, personally, loved talking football and video games with him. We lost our mom last January, but I know she would have been deeply saddened by his passing. On behalf of my entire family, I’d like to extend our deepest condolences to Kenneth’s family and loved ones. He was one of a kind and will certainly be missed.
