Kay was born in Midland, Texas. July 30, 1959. She had many nieces and nephews who all loved her to the moon and back, including Taria Moreland, De Anna Nickels, Julie Garcia all of Oklahoma, Robin Lewis of Gilmore, TX, Brandon Lewis, Stacey Choat, Shalene Choat, Mandy Choat, Ronnie Chambers, Chester Sutton, Jimmy Sutton, Mike Evans, Steven Evans, Michael Welch and Lance Welch all of Midland.
There are many wonderful and funny stories we all can tell of her silliness, her generosity, her passion for family and for life.
Kay was her son Mitchell’s favorite person and vice versa. She was his closest confidant, and friend. She always wanted to protect those she loved, which was every person she knew. She had a heart for the hurting, but you better not cross her. She spoke her mind, all good of course, and would give you her last dollar.
