Kay Frazier Davis, 51, of Stanton, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, in a Midland hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Stanton with Rev. Pat Ray, pastor of Prairie View Baptist Church and Rev. David Harp, pastor of First Baptist Church in Stanton, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Friday at the funeral home in Big Spring.She was born on June 15, 1957, in Big Spring, Texas and married Paul Davis on March 28, 1996 in Stanton, Texas.Kay graduated from Coahoma High School in 1975. She received her Bachelors Degree from UTPB and her Master of Education Degree from Texas Tech University. She had worked for Stanton ISD for 16 years as a special education teacher and the last 10 years was employed by Big Spring ISD as an Educational Diagnostician. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stanton.Survivors include her husband, Paul Davis of Stanton; one daughter, Wendy Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sons, Daniel Melville of Lubbock and Joel Melville of Stanton; her mother, Billie Frazier of Big Spring and two brothers, Tracy Frazier of Andrews and Tony Frazier of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Raymond Frazier; and sister, Nancy Frazier. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, % Carolyn Brooks, P.O.
