Your sister, Lynda, just told me about Kay. I like her picture; it shows a lovely, warm, caring person. My heart goes out to you, Paul, and to your family. Having to go through the ordeal with a loved one of having cancer, the treatments, and then lose the love of your life is such a devastating experience, but God will help you get through it. With love, Bettye

Kay and I have worked together for many years to find resources for the students and their families, as well as the staff, in Big Spring and Stanton school districts. Her smile was always reassuring and kept us going while we dealt with some really tough, complex situations. Kay's special touch with the students helped us to better understand the challenges as seen by those students. I will miss her very much. I am sorry for your loss of such a dear person.

To All of Kay's Family I'm very sorry to hear of Kay's passing away. I know it has been an extremely hard year for Kay and the whole family. I wish my family and I could be there to encourage. I know there are not many words one can say at such a time as this, but Jesus said He is the Resurrection. He said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. I believe Kay is finally at rest with the Lord and I believe those of us who love the Lord will see her in the future. My heart goes out to the whole family. It sometimes doesn't do any good to ask "why" but to just trust and cry.

To all of Kay's family, friends, and co-workers: I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Kay. I didnt know she had been ill. She and I started and finished school together. I have known her and her family all my life I guess. I would see her from time to time out to lunch at Subway with a mutual friend and her coworker Bebee. What I remember most about Kay was that I loved her "dry" sense of humor - she could always make me me laugh. I remember going Easter egg hunting at the Frazier's in Sandsprings when we were little and what caring parents Carl and Billie were. I know you will miss her and I know this is so difficult especially with it only being 2 short months since Carl passed away as well. My prayers are with you during this difficult and sorrowful time.
