Katie Nicole Knight, 30, of Midland Texas passed away March 3rd, 2024.

Katie was born December 17, 1993 to Donald and Celinda Knight In Midland Texas.

Katie enjoyed dancing and taking classes at Bingham Dance Studio in which she was part of several competitions. Later she was in band at Midland High School where she graduated in 2012.

Katie was a devoted and loving mother to the light of her life, Gracie Claire (7).

She had a contagious, giggly laugh and was very competitive in everything she did. Katie was a lovely and vibrant daughter who had been taken away from us much too early. But the memory of Katie will love on in us forever.

Katie is survived by her daughter Gracie, mother Celinda, father Donald Knight, siblings Nick, Megan, Julianna, sister-in-law, Jenny, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Katie is preceded in death by her sister Jennifer, brother Chad, paternal grandparents Donald and Helen Knight, and maternal grandparents Vance L. (Buddy) and Loretta Beene and Bobbie and Sherrie Standley.

A memorial of her life will be set at a later date.

Katie, you were the best friend I prayed for when I was a child. I believe God answered my prayers when you your mother Celinda and brother Nick moved next door. I enjoyed growing with you in all the stages of our life. From riding bikes around downtown Midland and eventually getting our drivers licenses. From childhood and into our teens you and I always had fun times. The memories I have I still share to this day and forever I will continue to hold and cherish the memories we had together. I thank you for being the beautiful person you were. Please know Katie, through the good and the bad I was by your side. Thank you Katie for knowing my heart. I accepted you for who you truly were, as friends to the end should. I miss your laugh Katie. I miss every hilarious moment we shared. The music we listened to will take me back to the moments we had. Now you rest, we all wait to see you again. Your mother Gracie & I will remain strong in our relationship.
