I am so sorry about your loss. My mom has been a tablemate with Cookie for about six months and I always enjoyed visiting with them. My mom would help her at mealtimes. My little grand daughters would hold the big balls for her and get her to kick the balls. We will miss her.

Kathleen was such a wonderful person. She was so kind and helpful when my mother was ill. And a few years later, she helped plan and organize the 90th birthday party for my father. She was such a delight to know and would help anyone when she could. Stanton willl miss her.

CHARLES AND JAMES. WHAT A LOSS FOR ALL OF US. YOUR MOM TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES DURING HER LIFETIME. SHE WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT OTHER PERSON WAS TAKEN CARE OF AND WAS HAPPY. SHE IS IN MY EARLIEST MEMORIES OF COURTNEY. I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HER AND CALL HER FRIEND. I IMAGINE SHE IS GETTING THEM ORGANIZED UP THERE AND MAYBE THE LORD WILL LET HER OPEN UP AN ANGEL SHOP. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. LOVE, JANIE
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. When we lived back in Stanton a few years ago, she always was a stop on our downtown business circle, whether we needed anything from her store or not. Dixie loved visiting with Kathleen as did I.

Our deepest condolences go out to you all. Ms. Lewis was a very special lady. Even though we only knew her for a very short year, she touched all of our hearts. Her smile was worth a thousand words. I will never forget the stories she would tell us. We will miss our Cookie very much. From all of us at Legacy Ranch, thank you for allowing us to have the honor of taking care of Kathleen aka Cookie.

James, Charles & family: My sympathy to you in the loss of your mother. She influenced my life, my family, and the lives of many others in Martin County in so many ways that I cannot count. I remember her as my Sunday School teacher at Courtney. I saw her often as she worked at the court house. She cared for my son when he was in the church nursery. When I needed to provide references during my professional career, Kathleen was nearly always one of those references that I named. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Wayne Bradshaw
