Karen Kay Parnell peacefully passed away on April 30th, 2024, in Midland, Texas after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Karen was surrounded by her family and was 60 years old.
Karen was born in El Paso, Texas and was a proud graduate of Eastwood High School and UT El Paso.
Karen is survived by her husband Stan and two daughters, eldest Andie (28) and her fiancé Salvador Segura, and youngest Taylor (24). Karen’s mother Virginia Casper still resides in Junction, Texas. Karen’s sister, Lynn Bagby and family reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Karen’s extended family, Donna and Denny Neessen, children, and grandchildren, reside in El Paso, Texas. Karen is also survived by her work family at Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, Texas.
They all invite you to join them for a memorial service Wednesday, May 8th at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on West Illinois in Midland at 2pm. Her family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
