Karen Ann Crouse, 79, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Karen graduated from Monahans High School in 1964. Shortly after, on January 27, 1966, she married the love of her life, Jack Crouse. Together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family, sharing 59 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in July 2025.

Karen was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She had a special gift for making everyone feel at home the moment they walked through her door. She loved playing games with her friends, reading a good book, and spending time with those she loved most. Whether it was a quiet afternoon or a family gathering, Karen treasured every moment.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter Lesa and husband Ron of LaVernia, Texas; son Jim and wife Kelli of Hempstead, Texas; and daughter Robin and husband Dewayne of Big Spring, Texas. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her brother Ronnie and wife Nelda of Smithville, Texas, one niece, four nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Karen’s life was a beautiful example of love, devotion, and simple joys. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on April 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Karen’s memory.
