June Reeves Hines

June Reeves Hines passed away February 16, 2016. The family will hold private services.June was born September 23, 1931 in Lovington, New Mexico to Sidney and Eula Reeves. After high school she attended Southwestern Institute. She married Don Hines September 3, 1960 in Gallup, New Mexico. They lived in Bakersfield and Taft, California, Farmington, New Mexico, and Cortez, Colorado before moving to Midland in 1977. She was a devout Christian and loved to study ancestry.She is survived by her husband, Don M. Hines; son, Kinnon Hines; grand-daughter, Kyndi Hines; sister, Sidney Evelyn Car of Houston, Texas; sister in-law, Hontas Hines; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joan.The family would like to express their gratitude towards First Assembly of God Church, Midland Memorial Hospital, and Home Hospice.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teen Challenge or a church of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
