Julian Earl Wickham

Julian Earl Wickham was born on February 19,1921 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Clarence Earl and Vera Bell (Beekman) Wickham and passed from this life January 7, 2018 in Seminole, Tx.He married Zetta June Myers on December 13, 1946 in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ where he served as an elder and teacher for a number of years. He graduated from high school in Graham, TX. and worked in the oilfields of Texas and New Mexico for most of his life; retiring from the Parker & Parsley Petroleum Co. as a production supervisor. He loved to hunt, fish, and search for arrowheads whenever he could. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, oldest daughter, four brothers, and one sister.Survivors include 2 sons, Jeff and David, one daughter, Julie, and numerous other family members including his grandkids.For the last several years of his life, Julian lived at the Memorial Healthcare Center in Seminole, TX, where he received excellent care, made new friends, and played dominos.A memorial service will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Westside Church of Christ in Midland, TX.The family suggests memorials be sent to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home, 1356 NM 236, Portales, NM 88130.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
