Julia May “Lady” Mueller was born January 1st, 1923 in Midland, TX. Lady and her brother, Man, were the first set of twins to be born at Midland Memorial Hospital. She attended Midland High School and graduated in 1941. Lady was a loving mother, she didn’t a have mean streak in her. She raised her five children as a single mother while working in the kitchen at Midland Memorial Hospital. One of Lady’s favorite hobbies was selling Avon products.
Lady is preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Julia Rankin; her son Herbie Miller; brothers Man, Robert and F.E. Rankin; sisters Nancy McKinley and Rose Rankin.
Lady is survived by her daughters Susan Vorwek and Juliet Mueller; son Art Mueller and wife Barbara; son Harry Mueller and wife Nancy; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
