Vernie Jueldeen Thompson McCormick, 81, of Llano, Texas, formerly of Big Spring, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, surrounded by family. The family will receive friends 10:00AM to 11:30AM, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born November 10, 1933, in Trent, Texas and married Irland Faye McCormick on August 19, 1950, in Big Spring, Texas. Jueldeen received her G.E.D. from Big Spring High School where she met her best friend and love of her life in Algebra class, Irland McCormick. Jueldeen was a devoted mother and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was an excellent cook who raised her three children in Big Spring. She loved her family and attended every Henson Reunion except for one in 61 years. Jueldeen was known as \Sis\, \Moose\, and \Nana\. Travel was a part of Jueldeen’s \gypsy\ spirit and she often traveled to visit all of her family members. Many days she could be found quilting, sewing, or crocheting. Jueldeen will be remembered by many waltzing across wooden dance floors in the halls of West Texas. She kept a large collection of family history documents and memorabilia dear to her heart.She is survived by her husband, Irland McCormick, of 64 years also three children, Mikical Irland McCormick and wife Karen, of Big Spring, Ricky Dean McCormick and wife, Betty of Brookshire, and Judy Pat Lemcke of Junction, Texas; eight grandchildren, Lisa Brown and husband, Tim of Clinton, Utah, Aaron Bellinghausen and wife, Katie of Cedar Park, Traci and husband, Duncan Hamlin of Azle, Wacey and wife, Trisha of Hawaii, Julee Holladay of Junction, Megan McCormick of Dallas, Candice and husband, Cody Leger of Brookshire, Emma of Brookshire; 11 great-grandchildren; Mia and Allie Bellinghausen, Luke Hamlin, Tighe and Olivia Brown, Keilee Curl and Jolee Heinsohn, Matthew Eckhardt, Lydia Lufkin, Katee and Ellison Holladay.She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian Murdock Thompson and Beulah Lois Henson; her brother, J.W. Thompson.,
