Miranda, Juanita, 86, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2001, in a local nursing home. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2001 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 13, 2001, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah McCarthy, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on February 21, 1914 in Mexico and married Matilde Miranda on April 26, 1930 in El Centro, California. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1984. Mrs. Miranda was a former employee of the Garrett Ranch. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player and gardener. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Antonio Miranda and Matilde Rodriguez both of Big Spring; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
