Juan Vizcaino Domínguez was born on December 30, 1949 in Manuel Benavides Chihuahua, Mexico and left this earth on January 8, 2022 just nine days after his 72nd birthday.
As a young child he moved to Ft. Stockton, Texas where he remained until his early teens. At that point Juan returned to Mexico where he would eventually meet the love of his life, the former Olga Saenz Delgado.
Juan and Olga were married on March 21, 1971 and shortly after returned to Texas and in due course made Midland their permanent home. From this union, and in quick succession four children were born; Elsa Dominguez (Leroy Lucio), Juana Escamilla (John), Jose Dominguez (Maricela) and last but not least Alejandra Dominguez.
Juan was a humble, hardworking man who made his way in life for over forty years as an oilfield painter and sandblaster. He enjoyed reading, watching old Westerns, The Andy Griffith Show and relaxing with a cold beer after a long day at work.
He is survived by his four children; seven grandchildren; Ivanah, Sebastian, Julian, Emma, Eli, Miranda and Mackayla; four great granddaughters; Emily, Ellie, Jocelyn and Xyla. Also left to cherish his memory is his one and only sister Alicia Soto, husband Humberto, and not to be forgotten his bonus sister Ms. Norma Porras, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 13th at 10:00 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Midland. Viewing will take place on Tuesday January 11th and Wednesday January 12th at the Branch at npw, with rosaries both nights at 7.
Pallbearers are Sebastian Lopez, Julian Dominguez, Auden Soto, Humberto Soto, Leonardo Dominguez Sr and Leonardo Dominguez Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Eli Escamilla, Alejandro Montoya and Arian Montoya.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Dad’s first grandchild Ivanah, his (Cheeve) for going above and beyond. Thanks for all the love, compassion, time, entertainment and comic relief during this difficult time. He will always have his “Tulsa Time”.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences can be made at www.npwelch.com.
