Joyce Romine

Joyce A. Romine, 62, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2001, in a Midland hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. She was born on May 13, 1939 in Big Spring, Texas and married Joseph Romine on June 29, 1976 in Kermit, Texas. For many years, Mrs. Romine had managed several 7-Eleven stores in the Big Spring area. She moved to Midland in 1989, where she and her husband owned and operated a flea market on the Rankin Highway. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Romine of Midland; two daughters, Linda Black of Big Spring and Diantha Fields of San Diego, California; three step-sons, Donald J. Duff of Port Barre, Louisiana, Rick Romine and Rob Romine both of McMinnville, Oregon; 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
