Joyce Adams, 72, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2007 at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. She was born on March 27, 1934, in Big Spring, Texas and married Lester Don Adams, Sr. on May 31, 1950 in Big Spring, Texas. Joyce loved cooking, music and going to her house in Ruidoso. She was a past member of Phillips Memorial Baptist Church, East 4th Street Baptist Church and Midway Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for over 44 years. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved taking care of her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.Survivors include her husband, Lester Don Adams, Sr. of Big Spring; two sons, Don Adams, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Big Spring and Joel L. Adams and wife, Kathy of Irving; three daughters, Cindy Grizzard and husband, Jim of Grand Prairie, Shirley Harrison of Euless and Brandy Griffin and husband, Marcel of Keller; one sister, Bobbie Baker and husband, Bill of Arlington; eight grandchildren, Megan Caliendo and husband, James of Arlington, Dara Prince and husband, Mark of Las Colinas, Wakeen Kimble of Euless, Vanessa Reitzer and husband, Chris of Abilene, Jon Adams and wife, Rachel of Rockwall, Logan Adams and Devin Adams both of Big Spring and Robbie Parsons of Kentucky; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Buford Wilmuth and grandson, David Parsons. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Gideons International, Big Spring Camp, P.O.
