Joseph "Joey" Gregg, 20, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, January 24, 2004, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 29, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Jim Wright , pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and Chaplain Ken Childress, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM in the Bomarton Cemetery, Bomarton, Texas.He was born on August 30, 1983, in Anniston, Alabama.Joey came to Big Spring in 2001 from Ft. Dix, New Jersey. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and had finished third in the Jr. Championship Golf Tournament two years ago.Survivors include his mother, Jane Gregg of Johnson City, New York; his father, Jackie Gregg of Big Spring; two sisters, Renea Clemens of Euless, and Christie Roberts of Alexandria, Alabama; one brother, Tyler Gregg of Big Spring; his maternal grandparents, L.W. and Dauris Ridenhour of Beaumont; his paternal grandparents, Calvin and Emma Gregg of Greenville; and a large, extended loving family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
