LYNN-- AM VERY SAD ABOUT JOE-- HE WAS ONE OF A KIND--- I TOLD HIM ONE TIME-- A WHISKY GLASS AND A WOMANS ASS MADE A JACKASS OUT OF ME HE CRACKED UP LAUGHING. STAY IN TOUCH WITH US. LOVE YOU CHARLENE AND BUCK MAIN
Joe, I think about you constantly since you've been gone. I miss you intensely. There is nothing more I want than to go over to your house and talk with you about all the wild things we would talk about, and give you a big hug. It was all so sudden and quick, and I wish you were here for me to take care of you still. I love you Joe, You are the best man that I ever knew. It hurts my heart to know that I have to wait to see you again, but I will. And i'll do my best to talk care of your little girl. So now that you're up there with Clem, aluicious, and countless others, I rejoice for you. Down here, it's hard to contend with the huge void we have that was your love. I love you Joe, so very much. Your son, Jimmy
Dear Family of Joey Words can't express how I feel. I often think about the great times we had in school at Benoit and Ondossagon. We parted our ways and seldom got the chance to see one another. You were always in my thoughts. The last time we talked we were camping at Sunset Park by the lake. I will miss you buddy, until we meet again. God Bless. Stevie

Joe and I went to high school together. Although I haven't seen him in years, I remember him as a kind, gentle and compassionate man. My thoughts and prayers are with you. "He lived, he laughed, he loved, and he left. And the world will never be the same"
Many great memories from many years back in the tavern days(1970's). You were a good friend and will always be remembered, especially 'The Checkmate Days'. Our condolences to Joe's family and friends. Alex and Linda Panasuk
Dear Lynn, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers for you and your family as you go through the next days, weeks and months with out Joe. It would have been so nice to see him at a class reunion. I think of you occasionally as I drive through the east end of Ashland and remembering times long past. Take care, Lynn. Joyce
We had alot of good times in school, life was so easy back then. You were a brave Marine and a hero and God will reward you for sure, rest in piece dear friend.
To "Joe T from Texas" You were a kind beautiful person. Thanks for always being there for us. You will be greatly missed. With love, Gale
Joe and Lynn were like second parents to my son Patrick McAllan when he and son Jerry were in high school. Whenever I would see Joe he always had time to talk and ask how everyone in the family was doing. When Joe and Lynn left the Ashland community ther was a big void. Joe will be sadly missed but forever remembered.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Heaven to me has received a true soldier of God who has done his part to serve his country and fellow countrymen. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ light your way home. GOD BLESS YOU.
I did not know you well Joe in life but seem to understand you better now as I look back on all your kind words of love and humility. You expressed yourself simply from a big heart. 20 years and knowing you from many states away, it is now that I know you........ see you in Heaven.
Lynn & All of Joe's Family, Our sympathy goes out to you all. Joe was a friend and classmate. Always kind, loving, thoughtful..... kept a lot of us in stitches with his sense of humor. You were so right in saying that Joe never knew anyone as a stranger. Always a Big Smile. I'm so grateful I was able to speak with him when he was in Ashland awhile back. Joe will be missed, but never forgotten. Our class too has lost a Valiant Soldier. "The measure of a man is not how many servants he has, but how many men he serves" Joe had a servants heart. May Our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you all in this your time of need. Please know that you are being prayed for. "God grant you the Serenity you need" Sharon (Colgrove) Blaubach & Robert Blaubach
Dear Brother Joe: I will deeply miss you. A part of me has died with you. You were the only one that ever thought to call me, and I will cherish our conversations we had on the telephone. Near the end, I know we truly understood each other as only two brothers could understand one another. You are an inspiration to me and whenever things became meaningless, you simply replied, Clay, "Let it go." These words I will remember forever. They will help me live out the remainder of my life. God bless, I deeply love and care for you. Forever Grateful, Brother, Clay
Joe was a wonderful man and he will be missed by everyone that knew him. My heart and prayers go out to Lynn and his family!!

Thanks Marine for your dedication and sacrifice. Go now into that area made secure ahead of you by the greatest guardian and night patrol leader..Jesus Christ. Rest in his camp knowing your last mission is completed. A grateful fellow veteran.
Joe was such an inspiration to me. He gave so much of himself to others. He would have given his shirt off his back to help another. I watched him live what he believed.
