Josefina L. Moreno went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday January 16th, 2014 at her daughter’s residence.She was born on January 27th, 1931 in Ojinaga, Mexico to the late Manuel Levario and Maria de la Luz Levario.Josefina was raised in Ojinaga, Mexico, where there she met and married Monico M. Moreno on February 16th, 1953.The couple resided in Ojinaga, Mexico for most of their life.Mr. and Mrs. Moreno moved to midland in 2009 to be with their loving family.Josefina was a stay home wife, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and doing arts and crafts projects.Josefina fought a long battle with several illnesses, but was always a strong person to the very end. Josefina was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.The Moreno family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her care giver Lorena Herrera, whom she loved dearly. As well as Hospice of Midland- Jana Cook, and her granddaughters Erika Rodriguez & Jessika Hilario that cared for her during her illness. They would also like to give a special thanks to the ladies of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church who would bring her communion every Sunday Rosa, Manuela and Anatalia.She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Maria Levario, and her sisters Manuela Leyva, Agripina Navarro, Socorro Ramos, and Maria Levario; her brothers Alvino Levario Grado, and Jesus Levario Grado.She leaves behind to cherish her memory her one daughter Delfa Rodriguez of Midland; and her two sons Juan P. Moreno of Odessa, and Jaime Moreno of Midland; one brother Pablo Levario Grado of Midland.And her nine grandchildren Erika J. Rodriguez (Goddaughter), Jessika Hilario, Blanca L. Madrid, Yesenia Moreno, Monica Salgado, Juan P. Moreno Jr., Jaime A. Moreno, Jorge H. Moreno, and Janet J. Moreno; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Midland.
