Dominguez, Jose Felipe, 61, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, January 28, 2001, in a local hospital. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2001, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2001, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. James Plagens, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. He was born on April 1, 1939 in Big Spring, Texas and married Lupe Sanchez in May of 1960 in Big Spring, Texas. Jose worked for the Howard County Road and Bridge Department for twenty-eight years as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in November 1998. He had been a member of the Chicano Golf Association. He was a good husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jose was very devoted to his family. We will miss the joy and laughter that he brought to our lives and he will forever live in our hearts. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Lupe Dominguez of Big Spring; three daughters, Diana Dominguez of Midland, Terri Dominguez and husband Manuel Rodriguez and Allison Rodriguez and husband Patrick all of Big Spring; three grandsons, Joseph Olvera and Patrick Rodriguez II both of Big Spring and Nicholas Luevano of Midland; one granddaughter, Angelic Gee and husband Blake of Big Spring; one great-granddaughter, Lexie Shea Gee of Big Spring; one sister, Betty Hernandez of Eagle Pass; five brothers, Luis Dominguez of Midland, Manuel Dominguez, Andy Dominguez, David Dominguez, and Tony Dominguez all of Big Spring; his mother-in-law, Consuelo Munoz of Big Spring; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Sanchez of Midland. He was preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Vidala Dominguez and one sister, Christina Dominguez Rodriguez. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
