Joleen Ann Geleynse

Joleen Ann Geleynse, 67, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2024.

Joleen was born on August 29, 1956, in Bellingham, WA to Marinus and Anne Geleynse.

Joleen moved to Midland in March 1997 and worked for American Energy, Silverline Transportation and LKN Investments until her retirement in 2017.  She loved to travel and has been to all 50 states.  She loved doing crafts, playing bunco, aerobic water classes and playing pickle ball at the YMCA.  She loved her YMCA family, and they all loved her.

She always had a smile on her face and her love for her Lord was evident in the way she lived her life.  She especially loved her Sunday School class.

Joleen was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her Mom, her brothers
Dale and his wife, Robin; Carl and his wife, Gloria; 4 nephews, Ryan and his wife, Tracy and their 2 children, Shannon and Logan; Mike and his wife, Kia; Alan and his wife, Brittany and their daughter Ada; and, Scott and his wife, Karisa and their son Alec.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church in Midland, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Interim Hospice, 1031 Andrews Hwy, Ste 100, Midland TX  79701 or to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC  28607.

The family would like to show appreciation and gratitude to Interim Hospice and Visiting Angels for their wonderful care.
