I’m so very sorry for your loss. Uncle Johnny will be greatly missed. From the very moment that he and Carla started dating, he become a very big part of our lives, I don’t think he and Carla ever had a regular date. My brothers and I became their shadows. He and Carla watched over us 3 kids when our mother had to be with our very ill daddy. He became our shield and protected us from what was about to come. When we lost our daddy he jumped in with both feet to make sure we were all taken care of. Had it not been for Unc and our auntie we would have had to face so many obstacles I will never forget my Unc. and the very special man that he was or the impact he made on my life. It’s only until we meet again, and then we will have our dance. Love to you all. 🥰🥰🥰

Dad, you were a man of few words and yet also a man of many. You were a jack of all trades. You were everything. You were the best dad a kid could ever hope for. You taught all 3 of us more than you'll ever know, and even now, you're teaching us still, although I wasn't ready to learn this lesson quite yet. Then again, I probably never would have been ready. I don't know how to let you go gracefully, but I'm trying. You were the best Hopps to my kids. You loved them and they sure loved you... I'm so thankful for the impact you've had on them. I miss you already, but I know you're good... you're good. You're well. And I'm glad for that. Give Bubba a hug for me. Love you, Dad. Isaiah 41:10.

My heart is completely broken with the news of Johnny passing. We loved him so very much and some.of the best memories are of us sitting on the porch just talking. We share so many memories and I always enjoyed my time at the family reunions as well as every other time I was around him. He always had a way of cheering you up or saying something witty or silly when it was really needed. You all helped me through a rough time in my life and I will never forget it. I love you all and you will all be in my prayers.

Dearest Johnny, my only brother, your untimely departure has ripped a rather large piece from my heart for you to take with you. Knowing that your beloved Brandon and mom were there to greet you on your journey, comforts me a little. The world was a better place having had you in it, and no holiday will ever be the same without your laughter. Hopefully, you are aware of how much you are loved, how much you will be missed, and how you will never be forgotten. Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
