Johnathan was born on June 7, 1992 in Midland, Texas to Joseph (Joe) and Jesusita (Susie) Lopez.John was the shining light of his family and the humblest person on this earth. He was a giver of love, hope, acceptance, and peace. John went to be with his grandparents and our Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. John left his light shining on his loving family and friends. His rays of light left memories that will forever be cherished and treasured by his family and most of all his friends, who all loved him so much! These memories include his love and passion of producing and listening to music, the Dallas Cowboys, video games, and above all, his close relationships with his family and friends. John loved to hang out with his best friends and treasured the moments with his favorite friends enjoying the good times and making beautiful memories. Whether it was enjoying a Cowboys game with his parents or playing video games with his brother and sister, John was always up for a good time with family and friends.John is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Susie Lopez; loving brother, Christopher Lopez; and his loving sister, Sarah Lopez, all of Midland. John is also survived by his maternal uncles and aunts, Juan and Francis Sanchez of Colorado Springs, CO, Vicente and Betty Rangel, Hope Barboza, and Keith and Grace Bracewell, all of Midland; cousins, John and Coleen Bracewell of Midland; paternal uncles and aunts, Juan and Yolanda Perez of Midland, Emilda Lopez, Jesse Lopez, Jr. both of Odessa, TX, and Martha Maxwell of Carrollton, TX; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.John is preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents, Jesus and Micaela Alvarado, and beloved paternal grandparents, Jesse and Jesucita Lopez, who welcomed him to his place in heaven.The family would like to express their deepest and most sincere gratitude towards Connie (Bibi) Corrales, Florinda Gomez, and Isabel Rodriguez for their hours of support, love and care for the family in their time of distress; John’s numerous friends who he loved dearly and would always share his best times with; and his favorite cousins John and Coleen.
