John Wesley Fields

John Wesley Fields, age 55, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Coahoma, TX. Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home- Rosewood Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home- Rosewood Chapel. Private interment will be held at Chandler Memorial Cemetery in Chandler, TX at a later date.

Wesley was born on December 22, 1970, in Big Spring, TX to Walter B. and Norma Jo (Weaver) Fields. He was an avid outdoorsman. Wesley loved to hunt, fish, cook for the family, was an All-Star golfer, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Turner) Fields; children, Kolby Fields, Jayce Prejean (Ryan), Tailor Fields, Meranda Young (Paul), Bryce Lackey, Krysta Bunch, Kristina Kirkpatrick (Mike); grandchildren, Samuel, Lauryn, Easton, Langston, Adalynn, Kamreigh, Zaiden, Cody, Cohen, Kinslee, Grayson, Tobyn, and one due this spring; sister, Tianna Beck (Bobby) and sister-in-law Linda Booker (Phillip); nieces and nephews, Sara Powell (Gerald), Aarika Newman, Josh Beck (Amanda), Jeremy Beck, Stephen Juarez, Kyle Newman (Heather); mother-in-law, Vera Rhoads, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Wesley is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Terri Lynn Yanez and Stacey Welch (James); and father-in-law, Gordon Rhoads.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
