a most gracious friend to remember from many years trucking his cattle. Never an unkind word & many political jabs until he convinced me to be a Republican when he ran for office! May he rest in peace!

Sending out thoughts and prayers to Martha and family. Mr. Anderson will be missed. All the stories that are being told about him show how much he was loved by the community and family. Martha, the Barton family is with you in spirit, know that we will be here for you when you get back to Austin.

Our deepest sympathy for such a big loss. Rich had a big heart to go with his big personality. For those of us who were fortunate enough to be a guest at the ranch, he was the ultimate host, making you feel welcome and part of a big, extended family. Sharing his life adventures were entertaining and just sweet to hear. He will be missed here on earth but there are no tears in heaven. God bless the family he loved.🙏💜

A man I always admired and looked up to thru out my younger years. Went to school with his children and remember him serving in our BC School Board! RIP old timer!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I was sorry to hear about Rich's passing. He was a trail blazer and a pace setter. He was a strong and determined man. You didn't have to wonder where Rich stood on any issues. He was quick to embrace the challenges of life. He had a deep love for the Lord, family, ranching, America, Texas, and people. I count it an honor to call him my friend. He was a blessing. Our thoughts and prayer are with his family and friends.
