John J. Wilson, 76, of Forsan, died on Monday, February 24, 2003, in a Big Spring hospital. Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2003, at the Forsan Baptist Church. He was born on May 4, 1926 in Belpre, Kansas and married Donna Rae Ebbers on November 22, 1953 in Hysham, Montana. John was raised in Kansas and had lived and farmed in Hysham, Montana for a number of years. In 1960, he moved to Abilene, Texas and sold life insurance for American National Life Insurance Company in the Abilene and Big Spring area for 11 years. He then moved to Forsan in 1981 and worked for Forsan ISD in the maintenance department, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Forsan Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Donna Rae Wilson of Forsan; four daughters, Karen O'Donnell and husband, Scott of Baker, Montana, Kathleen Pickett and husband, Benny, and Kay Sutton and husband, Wayne all of Jacksboro, Texas, and Kristi Mereness and husband, Don of Forsan; two sons, Loren Wilson and wife, Cindy of Forsan and Wayne Wilson and wife, Dena of Big Spring; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Morrill and husband, Doug of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace Wilson and Loren Wilson; and two sisters, Wilhelmina Stephensen and Margaret Hull.
