Joe O. Castro, Jr., 61, and his wife, Celia “Sally” Castro, 58, of Midland, passed away in Ross, Texas on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Elevate Church in Midland, Texas at 2:00 pm.Joe was born on July 1, 1956 to Mary Helen Ortega and Joe Castro, Sr. in Van Horn, Texas. Joe was a graduate of Robert E Lee High School in Midland, Texas. Joe worked for an oil and gas company-PumpCo out of Odessa, TX. He enjoyed BBQ, grilling, coupon clipping, shopping and creating his own secret spices and recipes. He loved spending time with his wife and two kids as well as spoiling his 4 dogs, Bear, Tyson, Diesel and Bella. Joe knew no strangers, he visited with anyone and everyone as if he had known them all of his life. Joe was the kind of soul that would take his shirt off his back for anyone in need.Sally was born on June 5, 1959 to Guadalupe Montoya and Catarino Urquidez in Monahans, Texas. Sally was a graduate of Roswell High School in Roswell, New Mexico. She worked as an administrative assistant for RSP Permian of Midland, Texas. She enjoyed photography, event planning, sewing, participating in her group bible study, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. Sally’s entire world was her three biggest Loves, her husband and two kids, along with their four small precious dogs.They are survived by their son, Joe Castro, III of Waco, Texas; daughter, Stephani Castro of Midland, Texas.Joe is also survived by his sister, Erlinda “Linda” C. Marroquin. He is preceded in death by his parents.Sally is also survived by her siblings, Loraine U. Reyes, Serilda U. “Lily” Amador, Bessie Morales, Irene U. Davis, Raquel Carrasco, Delia Baca, Raymond Urquidez, Jr., Joe Urquidez, Rudy Ramirez, Oscar Vallin, and Roy Urquidez. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Juanita Ramirez, Nell Morales and Andy Urquidez. ,
