Jodie K. Presley, age 70 of Tomball, Texas passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2024.
Jodie was a Greater Houston-area real estate agent for almost 25 years, using the knowledge and expertise she gained from her many years working in the real estate title insurance industry to help people find their next homes. She also helped operate several family businesses over the years. Jodie was a volunteer at Southwinds Baptist Church of Tomball, Texas, reading books and helping where needed with the church’s school. Jodie enjoyed traveling, having just checked off a lifelong bucket list item with a week-long road trip with her husband to see California’s majestic redwood trees. She also had a good sense of humor, enjoyed laughing with others and at herself at times. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, her many friends, and her dogs. Jodie will be missed but her family knows that she is in Heaven for eternity.
Jodie is survived by Ricky Presley, her husband of more than 49 years, her daughter, Jennifer Presley, and her son Chris Presley and his wife Laura, and her only grandson, Everett Presley, all of Tomball, Texas. She also is survived by her sisters, Christy Wright and her husband Greg, and Cindy Hall and her son Joshua Hall, all of Midland, Texas.
Jodie is preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Clara King of Midland, Texas.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 29, 2024, at Southwinds Baptist Church at 16811 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas 77377, with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on May 31, 2024, at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Midland, Texas.
