She attended school in Paint Creek, Texas where she then later graduated. She met her forever love Mr. Robert (Bob) Wayne Brock while working at a Soda Jerk in a local Drug Store in Haskell, Texas. They were married by January 2, 1953 in Portales, New Mexico. They moved to Big Spring, Texas in July of 1955. She was a devoted wife and mother to her two children Rondel Wayne Brock, and Kimberly Ann Brock. She did all things that needed to be done, to make her husband’s life and her children’s life at ease.
Her husband Bob worked for Tarbox and Gossett Ford Motor Company for 11 years before purchasing the Ford dealership (Bob Brock Ford) in 1966. He operated Bob Brock Ford Motor Company, adding the Lincoln Mercury franchise in 1967 and the Nissan franchise in 1987, until selling the dealership in July 2012. She was a very busy woman which landed her the title “The Boss” everybody knew her as, she loved to garden, ceramic, needlepoint, scrapbook their grandchildren’s lives, and take care of her kids, but her greatest enjoyment was chasing around her 6 grandchildren to all of their sporting events. Never missing a game. She was everywhere and anywhere they were at. She spent many years being their right hand, babysitting, picking them up from school and taking them to 7-11 to get candy and a coke.
Her Grandchildren were her entire world and she made sure they always knew. Our grandmother was the most loving, sweetest and giving to any and every person she ever met.
