Jimmy Allen Padgett passed from an earthly life to his new life February 9, 2023. Jim was born September 12, 1938 in Decatur, Texas at a medical office in the Town Square. The following year, his family moved to Midland.
In 1955 he met his soul mate, Olivia Wise. They married in 1957 and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary May 25, 2022.
He enjoyed the trade of heating and air conditioning until he found his true passion as a transport driver. If something needed to be repaired. Mr. Fix it could get it up and running. He could repair anything from an alarm clock to replacing a car motor. His motto being, “If you can’t do it right, stay with it until you can or don’t do it at all.” His hard work and dedication reflected that he was outstanding in everything he pursued.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia; daughter and husband, Donna (Greg) Mosing of Lafayette, LA; son, and wife, Terry (Gina) Padgett of Lafayette, LA.; daughter and husband, Susan (Mike) Kruse of Coleman, TX; grandson, Braden Padgett of Midland, TX; grandson, Kelan (Allie) Padgett of Dallas, TX and granddaughter, Lindsey Mosing of Lafayette, LA.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents and two older sisters.
Most of all Jim like to talk and laugh. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Family meant everything to him. He leaves a legacy of family values and love. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Pallbearers will be Braden Padgett, Kelan Padgett, Mike Kruse, Kadyn McWilliams, Gary McWilliams and Leland Harrington.
