Jessie McWorkman, 101, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Hospice House in Odessa..She was born on December 23, 1907 to Robert and May Flautt Estes in Midland and lived most of her life here in the community. She attended the College of Industrial Arts and was a member of both the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Women's Club of Midland. She was also a member of First Christian Church of Midland.Jessie is survived by; daughters, Suzanne Crowder of Tulsa, OK, and Evelyn Nix of Seymour; granddaughters, Paula Pettyjohn of Wichita Falls, TX and Christina Crowder of Tulsa, OK and Pamela Brooks of Wichita Falls, TX.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herman Holt McWorkman, brothers, Walter and Robert Estes his wife Gretchen Estes and a sister, Evelyn Melear, and grandson Marc Pettyjohn.
