Jessie Powell, 100, of Matador, formerly of Midland, died on Friday, March 27, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2009 at Fannin Terrace Baptist Church in Midland with Dr. Doug Lamb, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Midland.Survivors include son, Ralph Powell and wife Marisue of Matador, grandson, Ralph Powell, Jr. and great grandson, John Thomas Powell. Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R.
