Jessica Chavez, 30, of Midland passed away on December 13, 2008 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Stonegate Church. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas at 1:30 pm. Survivors include; her husband, Charlie Chavez of Midland; two daughters, Maegan and Ella Chavez of the home; her mother and step father, Susan and Felipe Rodriguez of San Antonio; two brothers, Morgan and Tim Hammond, a sister, Kate Hammond, father and step mother, Hutch and Ann Hammond all of Roanoke, Alabama; maternal grandmother, Betty Braswell of Eufaula, Alabama; and mother in law, Mary Chavez of Shertz, Texas.
