Jesse A. Madry, 76, of McKinney, formerly of Big Spring, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born September 1, 1939 in Lamesa, Texas to J. C. and Mamie Jones Madry.Jesse graduated from Big Spring High School in 1957 and served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1962. He worked in Civil Service at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring until it closed and retired from Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock in 1996 as an air craft inspector. He moved to Arlington and worked various jobs. He had a love for classic cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Jesse loved his family and will be greatly missed.Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Hanes of McKinney; two sons, Jeffrey Paul Madry and wife, Michelle, and Michael Glenn Madry and wife, Lori all of Lubbock; eight grandchildren, Landon, Clay, Morgan, Zach, Jacey, Alice, Bonnie and Rocky; one brother, Jimmy Madry and wife, Karen of Big Spring; and one sister, Henrietta Harkrider of Arlington.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rex Madry; and a sister, Billie Jean Madry.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
