Jerry Wayne Anderson

Jerry Wayne Anderson, age 56, of Stanton, TX, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2023. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20th from 5-7pm at Gilbreath Funeral home in Stanton. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 21st at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Stanton.

Jerry was born on April 2, 1966, in Big Spring, TX to Dewey Anderson and Carol Ringener Anderson. He was raised in Stanton, and graduated from Stanton High School in 1984. Jerry married and had 2 daughters. He worked hard to provide for his family devoting over 35 years to Blocker Oil Company and Franklin & Son. He enjoyed spending time out on the patio by the fire pit, grilling burgers, and playing cards. He loved his friends and family dearly, and he could quickly bring a smile with his wit and charm.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Catelyn Anderson of Stanton; daughter, Cacey and son-in-law Matthew Ruiz, and their 3 children, Devin, Kilyn, and Jett of Midland; twin brother Terry and his wife Kim Anderson of Midland; brother Jimmy and his wife Liz Anderson of Stanton, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Carol Anderson, and Brother Tommy Anderson.

The family would like to express their appreciation for all of the texts, calls and prayers during this difficult time. They would also like to extend a special thanks to the Franklin family for all the love and support over these many years.
