Jerry Max Williams, 52, of Big Spring, died on Friday, December 18, 2009, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Salvation Army in Big Spring with Captain Terri Cheshire, officiating.He was born on November 14, 1957 in Japan.Jerry served in the United States Army and worked in Military Intelligance around the world. He had also worked for Lockheed/Martin. He was a football fan, especially a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved oil painting, wood working and dancing. He was learning to play the guitar. Jerry was an inventor at heart and was much loved by his family.Survivors include one brother, Jerome Marcus Williams of Dixon, California; one sister, Caroline Sue Williams of Big Spring; four nephews, Jerry Marcus Williams, Jerome Max Williams, Joseph Paul Ryerson and Mark Hollis Ryerson; and three great-nephews, Isaiah Williams, Jacob Max Williams and Braylen Hollis Ryerson.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Marcus Williams and Polly Sue Grifford Williams; his grandparents, Jerome Max Williams and Carrie Hull Williams.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
