*Media Obituary*Jerry L. Roe, 53, of Midland, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with, Rev. Don Knight, pastor of Cuthbert Ave. Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Jerry was born on August 8, 1952, in Hico, Texas to Garland and Arrena (Cox) Roe. He married Patty Dyer on March 28, 1981 in Houston. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Marines.He owned and operated The House of Carpets in Odessa. Jerry enjoyed fishing, camping, and remodeling his house. He was a devoted husband and father and was actively involved in activities with his family. He was a humanitarian and was a Baptist .Survivors include his wife, Patty Roe one son, Brian Massingill, two daughters, Lyddia Roe, and Amber Roe, one sister, Helen Potter, three brothers, Gary Roe , David Roe all of Midland, and Rick Milliken of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Arrena Roe and a son, Shane Roe.,
