Jerry Kinman, 83, of Big Spring, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2008 at Trinity Memorial Park.Jerry was born on August 11, 1924 to V. L. and Loraine (Choate) Shafer in Oklahoma.She grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Midland, Texas as a young lady. Jerry worked for over 30 years at Herman's Restaurant in Big Spring.Jerry is survived by two daughters, Jane Bland and husband, Bud, of Purdy, Missouri and Yvonne Hale and husband, Rocky, of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Scotty Bland of Big Spring, Kevin Bland and Chrissy Bland both of Purdy, Missouri, Melissa Hale of Midland and Brian Hale of Big Spring; and seven great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dick Lee Pace on July 8, 1986; and one sister, Waldean Kent.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
