Jerry Don "B. B." Paige, 67, of Big Spring, died on Friday, February 25, 2005, at the Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2005 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.He was born on October 19, 1937, in Childress, Texas and married Shirley Chapman on December 22, 1956 in Big Spring, Texas.He came to Big Spring with his family in 1938 as an infant and was a lifetime resident of Howard County. He attended school in the Knott Community. Jerry worked for Cosden Oil and Chemical for 41 years until retiring in 2000. He loved to be around his grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting events . He also enjoyed farming and loved life. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Shirley Paige of Big Spring; three sons & daughters-in-law, Rodney and Janet Paige, Gary and Cathy Paige and Donnie and Donna Paige all of Big Spring; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Annette and David Schofield, Gayla and Russ Padgett and Melissa McCullough all of Big Spring; four sisters, Bertha Craven, Ruth Steen and Rita Bailey all of Odessa and Sue Day of Gardendale; two brothers, Henry Paige of Big Spring and Jim Paige of Mineral Wells; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gracie Paige and one sister, Sudie McNew and an infant brother, Melvin Paige.The family suggest memorials to the Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit, P.
