Jerry Dale Rogers

Jerry Dale Rogers passed away February 6^th, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Jerry was born on November 11^th, 1941, in Cushing, Oklahoma. He is survived by the love of his life and soulmate, Linda Rogers, his son Rick Rogers, daughter Raye Lynn Kirkland and husband John, brother E.V. Rogers, sister Shirley Johnson, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elvie and Anna Rogers, brothers Bill and Bob Rogers and grandson Adam Paul Rogers.

He graduated from Odessa High School in 1959 and started a career in radio broadcasting. Jerry worked at KOSA Radio in Odessa in the 60’s, moving to KCRS Radio in Midland in 1967 where he remained for over 30 years. In 1998, Jerry started and operated Jerry’s Sound Systems. Jerry was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Midland, he moved to Granbury, Texas and became an active member of First Baptist Church of Granbury. Jerry was a kind, patient, and caring person and will be deeply missed.
