Jerrie Mae Murphy, 75, of Big Spring, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Mona Lue Tonn, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Olive Memorial Park.She was born Monday, July 7, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas. Jerrie lived most of her life in Big Spring, she enjoyed playing bingo and was a homemaker.Survivors include three daughters, Terri Fauver and husband, Lewis Bryant and Cindy Hinojosa and husband, Marvin Tedford all of Big Spring, and Brenda Mault and husband, David of Coahoma; one son, Kenneth Murphy of Big Spring; three sisters, Ellafay Edens of Lubbock, Joyce Howell of Big Spring and Rose Cass of Odessa; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Murphy; five brothers, Wesley Owen Brown, Leonard James Brown, Bobby Joe Brown, Charles Thomas Brown and Edward Melton Brown; and two sisters, Eva Ruth Brown and Dorothy Louise Martin.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
