Jennifer Ann Harris passed away on May 16, 2026, in Midland, Texas. She was born in Midland, Texas on June 1, 1956. Her parents were Doris Fay (Evans) and William M Harris of Midland.
Jenni went to school in Midland and graduated from Robert E Lee High School. After high school graduation she went to West Texas State in Canyon. She graduated with her master’s in library science from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.
She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She went on two missions to Taiwan. She returned to Midland following her missions.
She worked in the children’s department of the Midland County Library. She then worked at the Midland College Library until her retirement.
She always had an eye for artwork and did beautiful crochet and ceramics.
After her retirement she became even more active in the children’s ministry at church. She will truly be missed.
She was called home on May 16, 2026. There will be a service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on May 27, 2026, at 1:30pm. It will be followed by internment in Collinsville, Oklahoma on June 11, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Doris Harris.
She is survived by her two sisters, Jackie Berry of Midland and Jan Myers of Richmond, Texas. She has three nephews, William Berry and wife Shannon, Matthew Myers and wife Stephanie, and Ryan Myers. She has two great nieces and two great nephews.
