Jeary Rose Tubb

Jeary Rose Tubb, 95, lifetime resident of Big Spring, passed away Thursday, February, 1, 2024. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Jess Colegrove officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Jeary was born to parents Mary Lee (Edwards) and Luther Calvin Stuteville April 12, 1928 in Howard County. She married Roy L. Tubb July 2, 1944 in Big Spring. They made their home in Big Spring. He preceded her in death May 5, 2000. Jeary was a hairdresser and owned Jeary Beauty Shop for over 12 years. She had been a faithful member of Birdwell Lane Baptist church until it closed.

Jeary is survived by one son David and wife Cindy Tubb of Big Spring; one daughter Karon Rodman of Big Spring; one brother Pete Stuteville of Big Spring; daughter-in-law Beverly Tubb; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, son Charles, 8 brothers and 6 sisters.

Pallbearers will be Harrell Newton, Arron Puga, Zach Tubb, Todd Tubb, Tim Tubb and Hayden Tubb. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Tubb and Tharon Tubb.
