Barbara Jeanette Lincoln, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 24, 2024. Jeanette was born in Lamesa, Texas on April 10, 1940 and raised in Midland, Texas.
She was a devoted Christian and faithful worshiper of her Lord and Savior. Jeanette was a loving mother, granny, sister, and aunt. She spent her life in Midland and worked at Midland Memorial Hospital for 15 years until she retired.
Her retirement years were spent serving others in any way she could. Jeanette had a heart for missions and attended several mission efforts in other countries. She loved to serve. Jeanette went on to further her education in the ministry and graduated from a school of ministry through Cornerstone church.
Jeanette had the most infectious laugh and beautiful smile that would light up the room. She loved to hug, hold hands and visit. She is greatly missed by all of us who love her!
Jeanette is preceded in death by both parents Wayne and Sidney Best, son Darian Bennett, and grandson Braxton Bennett. She is survived by her daughter Paula Yates and husband Kevin, son Charlie Chappell, daughter-in-law Sharon Bennett, brother Mike Best and wife Christine and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a whole host of friends.
“Go rest in the arms of Jesus. You have finished a race run well.”
