God called his Angel Jeane Gazzale Webb home on September 18, 2018 at 12:15amand into HIS own, and the waiting arms of her mother and other family and friends who preceded her.Jeane was born in Bristow, OK on April 7, 1937 but spent her childhood on an oil lease near Pampa, TX surrounded by her mom, grandpa and grandma, aunts, uncles and mischievous cousins. When her mother married Jack Gazzale, the family followed the oil patch in Kansas and Texas, settling in Midland, TX in 1954 when Jack became division land man for British America Oil Co. They stayed at the historic Scharbauer Hotel while their new and permanent home at 2416 W. Storey was being built. Theirs was the last house on Storey going west at the time, with basic pasture to the West.Jeane graduated from Midland High School in 1955 and attended TCU for a year. She came to Russell, Kansas to visit her uncle in 1956 and while there, she met Ernie and they were married in 1957. They were blessed with Bryan, Shawn and Darren, the pride of their lives.Jeane was preceded in this journey by her loving grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, biological father Bob Bunch, stepfather Jack Gazzale, Mother Pauline, and brother Ricky Gazzale.She is survived by her husband Ernie, son Bryan (Tamara) Webb. daughter Shawn Ketchum (Danny), son Darren (Jodie) Webb, sister Theresa (Tim) York, grandsons Jarred (Becky) Martin , Ryan (Kara) Martin, Tyler (Vicky) Webb, Landen Webb, and granddaughters Taylor (Andy) Brignon, Kristen Shafer, Logan Webb, and great grandchildren McCarlie and Joslyn Martin, Charli Jo Brignon, Houston Brignon, and twins Lane and Jack Martin.Jeane loved Elvis and was a lifelong fan, having attended his 1954 appearances at Midland High and another in Odessa and a final one at a sold out performance at Ector County Colosseum just months before he passed away. She loved The Dallas Cowboys and The Texas Rangers, golf and tennis and all TV westerns.Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home at 3800 N. Big Spring, Midland and graveside services will be Saturday September 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N. Big Spring, Midland, with Midland Memorial Hospital Chaplain Michael Berry officiating. He was great daily comfort to Jeane and family on his daily visits to her room.Memorials in her name can be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, Wounded Warriors, American Cancer Society (Midland, Texas Chapter), or Midland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Thanks to the outstanding care she received from the loving staff at Midland Memorial Hospital on her final journey.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
