Alma Jean Boyle passed away July 5, 2009 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born June 13, 1924 to Robert Pitcher and Temp Graham Pitcher in Henryetta, Oklahoma.Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John H. Boyle, Sr. and her brother, Buddy Pitcher.Jean is survived by her four children, Mary Wood and husband James of Midland, Texas; Pat Ayers and husband Gary of Longview, Texas; John Boyle and wife Rhonda of Lufkin, Texas; Robert Boyle and wife Mary of Northport, Alabama. The highlight of Jean's life was participating in family activities and attending sports events with her eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: Shea Alford, husband Danny, and children Braden and Reese of Midland; Ronnie Ayers and wife Linda of Longview; Tammy Hageman, husband Richard, and children Tyler and Christopher of Riley, Kansas; Jenora Truitt and husband Rich of Brownwood; Christopher, Bobby, and Kelly Boyle of Northport, Alabama; Benjaman Boyle of Lufkin; Crystal Cash, husband Chris and children Callie and Cade of Coker, Alabama; Brenna Boyle of Greer, South Carolina; Erin Manley, husband Brent and son Briar of Lufkin; Kyle and Kayla Wood of Midland. A graveside service will be held at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas on Thursday, July 9th at 10:00 am.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Midland, 911 W.
