Jayne Kelso, 81, of Garden City, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Danny Whitehead, pastor of First Baptist Church in Garden City, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden City Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.She was born November 3, 1933 in Lexington, Illinois and married Bob Kelso February 21, 1954 in Bloomington, Illinois. He preceded her in death August 28, 2007.Jayne came to Big Spring in 1970 and moved to Garden City in 1978. She worked as a key punch operator for 20 years, the last few years at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, and in food service for Garden City Independent School District for 20 years. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed spectator sports. Jayne was a devoted wife, mother and \Granny\.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garden City where she taught Sunday school, served as the Sunday School Superintendent as well as the church secretary.Survivors include one daughter, Cindy O'Daniel and husband, Robbie of Coahoma; three sons, Don Kelso and wife, Jean of Big Spring, Ken Kelso and wife, Kim of Midland and Billy Kelso and wife, Shanda of Post; eight grandchildren, Clayton Kelso and wife, Kelsey, Kelli Crouse and husband, Jim, Chance O'Daniel and wife, Stacey, Brendon Kelso, Kelsi Pierce and husband, Erik, Kade Kelso and wife, Lauren, Kara Kelso and fiance, Matt Knicky and Brody Kelso; twelve great-grandchildren, Case Mount, Coby Mount, Bailey Crouse, Emery Crouse, Barrett Pierce (due December 22nd), Brenley Kelso, Cannon Kelso, Shaylee O'Daniel, Karson Kelso, Leila Pierce, Ben Rubio and Rylan Rubio; her beloved pet, Tinker Bell; one sister, Joyce Neirynck and husband, Bob of Bloomington, Illinois; one brother, Ken Miller and wife, Diane of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gene and Joyce Kelso of Temple and Wayne and Linda Kelso of Little River; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was also preceded in death by her parents.The family suggests memorials to Home Hospice, 200 W.
