Jay I met you in my early 20’s working at Thrifty Nickel. I was young and fairly new to Midland/Odessa you made me feel right at home and always looked out for me. You were always full of life and fun stories. You use to tell me all about your beautiful boys and how proud you were to be a father. You loved going on adventures with them took them everywhere you went and you loved your country music!!! The classics obviously. You were always full of life, fun and so hard working you ran circles around the young men. I will always remember you fondly and I always respected you immensely. You will be greatly missed. I was so lucky enough to keep in touch with you even after I no longer worked with you and Gail. As I grew up, like you used to say… got married had kids you always checked in with us.
I hope you truly knew what an impact you had in my life.

Jay Will may you rest in peace. Those Gibson days were the best. You were always smiling and willing to help. Such a nice guy who loved his C&W music and dancing. May you be dancing in Heaven with the volume UP. Prayers for your family now and in the days to come.

To the family of Jay Warren! My husband, Jim Vanover and Jay worked at the Thrifty Nickel together for years! I came to know Jay thru Jim! After Jim passed in January of 2018 I lost touch with Jay! But Jay was a great friend!
I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss!
May God wrap his arms around all of his family and friends that loved Jay!
RIP Jay

Jay was my first real boss. We worked in the electronics department at Gibson's. It was pretty cool as we were all under 20. We really had had fun because Jay was fun.
I always remember his laugh! He loved country music, and had it playing on the stereos, but let us change it when he left.
Such a nice and fair man.
I wish you all comfort and peace..
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
