Jason Dewey Campbell, 67, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 in Lubbock. A Life Celebration for Jason Campbell is being held at the Community Center in Coahoma, Texas on Sunday, August 14th, at 4:30 pm. Friends of Jason are invited to come by and share those great memories of which there are many.
Jason was born December 11, 1954 in Big Spring, Texas to Ann (Kiechle) and Winfred Campbell. He was a lifetime resident of Howard County and owned Stage Coach Gifts/Fun Shop in Sand Springs for over 38 years. He was known as “Uncle Jason” by his patrons. He was passionate about his customers and friends as he was a friend to everyone. He touched the lives of many people and was a mentor to many as well. He was a sweet soul displayed by his caring and trusting ways. He wouldn’t hurt a flea. He always took time to listen to others. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in the 1970’s.
He is survived by one brother: Charles Richard “Rick” Campbell and two sisters: Jan Campbell Bynum and Betsy Campbell Rutledge, multiple nieces and nephews and his close friends Jeanie Thompson and her children Joe and Brayden Thompson, plus close friend April Choate and her son Bradley, and a host of many others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ann and Winfred Campbell.
